About Us!
Animal Care Specialist For All Those Who Love Animals

          Establishment Dog Training, Ltd. has been training dogs in all levels of obedience, Agility, Rally, Flyball and tricks for over 30 years.

          Our classroom curriculum includes three 8 week sessions every year (Fall, Winter and Spring sessions).

          During each of these 8 week sessions we offer a total of 9 classes which take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 pm.

          We limit classes to a total of 10 dogs per class. We accept tuitions on a first-come first-serve basis and each class is closed when 10 students are enrolled.

About Our Trainer
Cynthia Erickson

With over 30 years of experience training and caring for animals, our trainer's unique approach to training dogs has produced well-trained companion dogs for decades. Her experience as a Veterinary Surgical Nurse gives her professional depth rarely found among dog trainers.

Her eclectic approach to dog training focuses upon the unique characteristics and personality of each dog. When success is measured by results, Cynthia stands far out in front of the pack.

Throughout her career, she has created thousands of enjoyable healthy long-term relationships between owners and their pets by focusing upon creating bonds based upon "mutual respect" and a "teamwork". These relationships have provided lifelong enjoyment and personal reward.

Our Trainer has over 30 years of experience in all types of obedience training.

She is a veterinary surgical nurse and has shown and trained dogs professionally in both obedience and conformation trials throughout the Midwest.

She has conducted training classes at numerous locations in the western suburbs.

She gears her training methods to the personality of each dog and feels that no training course is successful unless both owner and dog enjoy working together.

Her classes are limited to 10 dogs per class and she considers it essential to give individual attention to each dog and owner.

Classroom Training Courses

We offer 5 levels of training in our classroom courses: Basic Obedience, 3 levels of Intermediate Training (Fun Levels) and Advanced Training (Pi2 Levels). The tuition for all classroom courses is $150 per course. Click on the link below for details.

In-Home Training Courses

Our In-Home training courses are offered year-round and vary in price. Click below for details and prices for our In-Home courses. The Training Center

Our training Center is located near Berwyn, IL at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 6010 W 36th Street (36th Street between Ridgeland and Austin). Click on "Location Map" below for a printable map.

We have a private off-street parking lot and ample area to walk your dog. The training hall is located on the lower level of the Church. Students may enter through the main doors off of the parking lot. Those wishing to observe a training class should contact the trainer at (708) 484-9999. Only dogs currently enrolled in a class may enter the training hall without the permission of the trainer. All dogs entered in the class must be currently vaccinated and in good health.
